For 11Eleven
September to January 2025/2026
Scope of Work: Concept Development, Lead UX/UI Design & Prototyping
Commissioned by 11Eleven, we developed an app that activly involves employees in reaching climate goals. The centerpiece is a progress tracker for department-specific measures, where personal progress is visualized through a growing plant. A comment feature allows users to actively contribute their own ideas for new measures. Based on our research and qualitative interviews (10), a survey (27), and testing (14), we developed the app using the design thinking process. My contributions included conducting and analyzing interviews, designing the information architecture and navigation, and creating interactive prototypes in Figma.

Scope of work: Contribution on various design and UI elements
The European Society ESCMID is the leading Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in Europe. They unite 10K ESCMID members as well as 45K affiliated members through 77 national and international affiliated societies. The branding agency Schotysik has developed a new corporate design for them. During my internship, I was part of this redesign in: Color definitions, collaboration on various merchandise articles, collaboration on sitemap development, creation and control of sub-brand logos of the ESCMID study groups, suggestions for UI customizing of a congress app as well as creation of various custom icons.

January to March 2023
Scope of work: Content, Information Architecture, Design & Prototyping
This work is an adaptation of the Matura thesis «Swiss migration policy with a focus on contemporary witnesses» into digital form. The website is intended to serve as an introduction to the topic and enable people to discover information on their own terms. Each era has a brief overview and a detailed version. In the left-hand column are the historical events, in the right-hand column personal accounts of their experiences. In this way, the content is differentiated, but still influences and reacts to each other. Quotes that appear in both main sections are large and linked to each other. The first main section is in light mode and the second in dark mode. This is for visual clarity when jumping from subpage to subpage. If you click on an image, additional information is shown in the layover. The arrows can be used to navigate through the content on the image level.

Academic Thesis, FHGR
September–December 2025
Scope of work: Meta-analysis of 27 academic sources and deriving UX guidelines.
Mobile messenger apps are at the heart of modern communication. However, without accessible design, they often lead to social isolation for people with visual impairments. As part of my studies, I analyzed this topic: By evaluating empirical studies (focus user testings), I identified specific usability barriers and derived UX and design requirements from them. In doing so, I developed an understanding of accessible information architecture and user-centered design.

Personal
September 2020–present
Scope of work: Branding, strategy, community building, and social media management
Ludens is an organization with over 20 members that offers young adults a platform for analog and digital gaming culture. Whether it’s strategic board- or tabletop games, the focus is on community. As a co-founder, I helped build the organization from the ground up and have been responsible for its visual identity and strategic communications ever since. In addition to my design and strategic work, I lead weekly game afternoons and coordinate the monthly events at Talhof and other venues.

Client: Town of Uznach
November to January 2021/2022
Scope of work: Visual Communication & Illustration
Politics can often seem complicated and dry. The community council of Uznach approached me with the request to illustrate their legislative goals in a simplified form. Their wish was to have their resolutions accompany them in their everyday life in a clear and light-hearted way. I decided to work with strong colors so that their visions seem approachable, vivid and will catch their attention. The illustration style is designed to appeal to everyone, to look simple and professional at the same time. These ten illustrations were used as screensavers in the town hall, on the homepage of the municipality of Uznach and on DIN A3 posters, flyers and as a wall design on the municipality›s stand at the local trade show.

February to March 2023
Scope of work: From concept to detailed design
Rineke Dijkstra›s photographs are based on a classic portrait grid. This allows her to focus on the subtle: clothing, facial expression and posture. The characteristics of the people are captured and accentuated. I want to reinforce these small changes: Not the pictures, but the people themselves are positioned according to the portrait grid: Eyes centered and in the golden ratio. In this way, everyone places themselves on the page. The main titles and image numbering are also at eye level. Rineke Dijkstra captures how people influence and are influenced by their surroundings. The text therefore reacts to the images on the back and is displaced by them.
